Overview

We are hurling toward a catastrophic collapse.

Without exaggeration, we are presently facing four massive problems, any of which could cause our demise as a nation and as a species. They are issues that supersede conflicting ideologies that exist all over the world and are playing out in the United States between the Left and the Right, between compassion and freedom, between education and faith, and between full disclosure and privacy.

Those that are engaged in the fight are looking for answers in the wrong places. The answer is more fundamental than any of these dichotomies.

As a result of these opposing movements, our elected officials have overspent the largest income of any organization on the planet to the tune of over $1 trillion dollars a year FOR THE LAST TWENTY YEARS creating the greatest debt ever known to Humankind and displaying the most shameless corruption in history.

Despite the Founding Parents efforts to institutionalize balances in our government, power has been ripped from We the People and our elected officials serve the interests of the wealthy, the powerful, and themselves, all of which abuse the interests of the People.

Despite the fact that centralized economies cannot co-exist in a world with Free Enterprise and a respect for Human Rights, we overlook and often sympathize with their persistent efforts to take our resources and infiltrate the minds of our people.

And despite our knowledge that our planet is unique and human life is precious, we are systematically incinerating both.

“We the People, EVERYTHING Follows Those Words” studies the four existential issues that are threatening the Great American Experiment from a new and fresh perspective and offers practical Constitutional solutions. If we take the correct path, we will continue to make more astounding scientific, technological and medical advances and create more prosperity for the citizens of the U.S. and billions more all over the world.  If we do not follow this path, Humankind will not survive and this generation is likely to experience the destruction of everything we know and love.

Forward

Our Founding Parents did not birth this country for Republicans or Democrats, not for lobbyists or corporations, not for the wealthy or the powerful. Our Founding Parents built this country for WE THE PEOPLE.

This book is about what our Founding Parents intended when building our Democratic Republic which has become the most prosperous, most innovative, most scientifically and technologically advanced organization known to Humankind.

Our Founding Parents did not envision pure democracy, where the people control every aspect of government; nor did they envision a pure republic, where a representative or representatives of the people control every aspect of government. They designed a unique system where representatives would fulfill the will of the people while balancing the interests of the nation under the rule of written law.

The unique hallmark of our nation is our foundation upon Human Rights. Our nation was built on the concept that we are free to think for ourselves, express ourselves, worship as we will, and protect ourselves and our families. Consequently we are susceptible to all forces that neglect respect for the individual and employ power and strength to dominate and control. Thus our nation is vulnerable to foreign powers that seek to dominate the U.S. and confiscate our resources since centralized, command economies cannot survive without control over the free market or free expression. Additionally, We the People are also experiencing an insidious erosion of our Constitutional freedoms from a variety of corporate, ideological, political and financial powers that seek dominion over our lives under the façade of creating a better way for all.

This book is about our nation's successes and failures as measured against the charge of our Founding Documents.  If we follow the command of our Founding Parents who gave birth to our nation, the possibilities for our future are astounding.  More of our citizens will develop fantastic wealth; medical, scientific and technological advances will be unimaginable; and healthy life spans are likely to continue to extend.  If we fail to follow more closely the direction of our Founding Parents as written in our Constitution, we risk losing everything we developed in the last 244 years including our prosperity, our freedoms, and all the advances that have led to the lifestyle we enjoy today, as the entire free world loses its largest and most loyal benefactor.

The issues discussed in this book transcend our social consciousness.  Those in power seldom if ever mention the matters explored here. We are at a critical crossroad in this day and time. The concepts elucidated in this book will clearly describe each direction. The differences are stark and the correct direction is perfectly clear. Having the courage to take the proper road is the challenge incumbent upon you and me.
